France gets all the love while Germany gets a lot of hate.. it should be in reverse. Germany is pro-American, pro-NATO, pro-West sticking together through all of this. Macron has been blunt about wanting the Americans out of Europe many times, he's also totally against getting involved in Taiwan, cites that it's in an entirely different region, not Europes problem.. but Ukraine is everyones problem... Germany is pro-Taiwan (with limits). There's a lot of conflict between Germany and France yet again. A bullish loud Macron, a quiet Scholz.

Germany is the unsung hero of this wider conflict, not just Ukraine but the idea of the Western world as a unit yet it gets almost no credit for it at all. It's shameful. Germany, Poland, Norway, etc are all pulling their weight. Germany isn't close to as powerful as France is with it's military weapons exports yet it truly does everything it cans. They talk the talk and walk the walk, not just do just-enough.

There's a lot of shills for Germany where you cant say anything bad about it or else you get destroyed as if it's some gifted child that needs protection at all cost but at the same time there's not enough credit for when Germany is really going out on a limb. They totally are. And yes, their years and years of cheap Russian oil & gas came at a cost to European security, they're at least admitting to their mistakes and trying to make it right. That's all we can ask for.

Scholz doesn't deserve the hate he gets, Macron doesn't deserve the love he gets. Macron is a divider for the wider Western world, Scholz is a uniter. Macron is hardcore France First and very open about it, people applaud him yet when other countries do it "OmG literal dictatorship!"
