> Can you elaborate on every one of these and why you think they have a place? Starting with "Social Media".

I'm not going to go through each and every example just so you nitpick it and summarily declare them as a useless use cases. the value proposition is same as it's always been for crypto: permissionlessness, transparency, etc, etc.

> [NFTs are] backed by nothing legally

This is just simply not true. Legal rights for NFT holders can be explicit just like anything else. Here's an excerpt from one that I hold. there's no reason this can't exist with other collections (and it does)

*redacted token holders have full commercial rights to their unique version. They can remix and release it, play it publicly, or use it in other content like videos.*

*redacted includes the ability to render full quality audio files and to render individual tracks as Stems to make edits and remixes easy.*

*Holders do not have exclusive rights, meaning they cannot remove their version from redacted or stop it from showing up in NFT marketplaces like OpenSea.*

*If you do use a version commercially, you should not sell the token. If you do, you will transfer the rights and may need to obtain permission from the new owner to continue your use.*

*Every buyer will be responsible for their own copyright claims.*

> completely pointless if there is no enforcement on this stuff.

Again, you are misinformed. There was a *huge* case against Ryder Ripps in which Yuga labs won.

> just acknowledging it's almost all useless bullshit

Summarily hand waving it all away as "bullshit" doesn't make it true no matter how much you believe it to be so.
