Very true, I mostly like CRSP because of their banding methodology, where they allow a bit of float between the cap bands for tax efficiency. They also have less of the rigidness, like where META was in SPYV for half of last year now and they switched to SPYG when they did reconstitution. CRSP indexes allow a bit more of that float. That said, its splitting hairs a bit.
