This, and it is exactly what has happened to us. Funny, but remember when Cong. Steve King said that "you cannot preserve your culture with other people's babies?" While he is a racist and he meant it in a racist way, in some ways he has a point. If the America you want in the future is the one we have had before, then honestly, White Anglo-Saxon Protestants will need to have more babies. I personally don't care that much, but if you do, then that has to happen. Otherwise the America we have gotten used to won't be around. That is not a bad or good thing, it just is what it is.

As for the economic implications of this, because America is dependent on consumption for economic growth, smaller populations means less consumption which means lower growth rates. So, unless we pushed to become more export centric and start saving more, our long term growth will suffer.
