How is the fact the man flew a flag upside down in a country where free speech is our first and primary tenant a newsworthy issue? I don’t care if the person is a democrat or a republican or what. They have a right to have their opinion and even if it one I disagree with I will support their right to have it. I don’t care if someone flew a Nazi flag, a confederate flag, or any other type of controversial flag on their property. It is legal and within our constitution. In fact it a great thing if they fly it because now you know if you want to stay away from them or not.

Cancel culture and personal attacks on people have become a trend that I dislike and would never use on anyone. Ever. It diminishes a person when they act to silence or censor a person just because of that persons opinion, they try to invalidate it just because they disagree with it. It comes across as whining to me and it doesn’t help further discussion or improvement. We need to work together and respect that we will never agree on something’s.
