I understand her position, but legally I don’t think she has a case. I’m not a lawyer, but just because a voice sounds suspiciously similar to yours, it doesn’t mean it’s a direct clone. Hell I mean there are probably people out there who sound exactly like Juniper or the other voices, do they get to sue OpenAI?

But I guess the real issue is how they made the voice, and if they used audio of ScarJo to make it. If they did, they’re fucked. But if they didn’t and it just sounds similar (intentionally or not), then I don’t think they can get in any legal trouble by keeping the Sky voice as it is.
