I finally read the book, 'Hijacking Bitcoin' and it is absolutely eye opening.

I've been in the crypto world for a little while now and was around during the blocksize wars, however I didn't really care about it back then. I knew about the war and had a decent understanding of what was going on, but I never really knew about the massive censorship. All discussions about keeping BTC as it was supposed to be, which is "usable by all" were completely shutdown.

As someone who has regularly used a lot of coins and tokens directly on-chain, I can say without a doubt that BTC has been handicapped and kept useless. This goes directly against its original purpose and intention.

I highly recommend reading or listening to the book, then following up with your own research, and finally actually trying to use it and its hard fork "competition" (which I shall not name here) directly on-chain just to see the massive difference yourself.
