I just need to be honest here. This post is really embarrassing. I own bitcoin and a lot of other crypto. Maybe they go much higher and maybe they don’t. Blockchain or something like it is likely to play a major role in the future of transactions. But this idea that bitcoin is going to somehow replace all currencies is just comically funny. It won’t and never will. It’s slow. It’s terribly inefficient. There are other technologies in the crypto space that just work much better.

Do you want to know my prediction? In the future, perhaps 50 years from now - Bitcoin will be regarded as something of a novelty from the early days of crypto. A collectors item. For that reason it is likely to be worth much more than it is now. It will be used and transferred for that purpose. The same way people collect old stamps. It’s not the future of currency. It will never replace the dollar. I’m right of course but none of us will be around to prove it.
