I have no idea why you're attempting to make this about me. Where did I ever talk about my employment at all? Yes, there are absolutely self-taught programmers. But they didn't just do this cs50 course and then immediately go get a job. They did this cs50 course as a basic foundation, then learned a ton of other stuff from a ton of other sources, then most likely did some personal projects to bolster their resume (where they learned even more stuff), *then* got a job.
