I agree. I saw their toxic work culture firsthand, but i dont think its Americans not wanting to do it that created a shortage of workers. I still think its TSMC wanting to import their own workforce because thats their edge in the market, and the skilled labor shortage is a lie that allows them to do it. I've worked at samsung and numerous other semis. TSMC was by far the worst, most unorganized, unfriendly, and toxic of them all by far. They purposely sabataged our efforts by not giving us ANY information related to our project. It was insane. Imagine going to build a house for someone and you ask basic questions like "ok what size house, how many bedrooms, etc?" And they refuse to answer, and then turn around and call you lazy. Thats how it was, and we couldn't figure out why until they started their media campaign and how they wanted their own workforce from taiwan, then it all made sense.
