I’ve been trying to create a costume GPT that would act as a personal task assistant, I wanted to utilize the update.memory in order to create json objects of “tasks” and “schedule” but it never seems utilize the functionality.

I tried prompting it with a direct instruction to update the memory “remember I love pizza” and it did not seem to work.

When prompting the regular GPT 4o with the same prompt it utilized the memory.update right away with no problems.

Could this be that costume GPT’s are unable to update the memory?
