For me, I find I have to rebalance my portfolio by hand using excel. The problem is having multiple accounts and account types across different platforms. I have my target portfolio allocation each time cash goes in I must decide which investment to buy usually quarterly. I prefer to have my own sort of allocation with about 10-15 different investments. I’ve got to the point where I my spreadsheet assist and can do it…but it’s been revolving for 10-15 years…and I would think others are having the same problem. I’ve tried providers like Simplifi, or each investment platform like vanguard or fidelity. They don’t offer the customization or the final recommendation (I.e buy 3 shares of xxxx in yyy account totaling $zzz).
