I did not convince them in one go. I was telling them news about what is currently happening around bitcoin for half a year or so. I was also telling them about history. Every now and then I would tell them some story, what happened with money, what happened with currencies in the past and so on. Then once there was a headline in the newspaper that the lira had 70% inflation and i just said, no wonder if they print as much. Then showed a graph on tradingview with the lira inflation and its money supply next to it. Then I preceded to show them various goods (oil, gold, houseing index...) measured in our currency vs as a percentage relative to the money supply. You see that those goods always cost the same ammount measured in percent of the supply.
I think the most important times were the ones where I did not talk to them but where their brain had time to think and digest everything. Also I never told them to buy bitcoin. But one day they decided for themselfes that they wanted some.
I never tride to convince. Always tried to provide neutral facts. Never tried to tell them how to interpret those facts. Once they were worried that I am in a conspiracy bubble, then I asked them what conspiracy that would be, because I only show verifiable data and let politicians and Zentral-Bankers speak for themselfs in videos.
