When using voice mode, one thing that grinds my gears is that if I stop talking in the midst of a sentence to think what to say next, the AI thinks that I'm finished with talking and starts responding. So, I end up rushing my talk to avoid being interrupted.
For me, this is an issue because conversations between people are not a never ending and near continuous flux interrupted only by the person having finished his sentence and awaiting for an answer, but they include several moments of short or medium length silences.
This is true for the current voice mode and I believe that with the up and coming GPT 4o new voice mode, which as stated by OpenAI will be able to answer near instantly, it'll be more relevant.
What do you guys think about it?
