I wanted to share my journey of creating a custom trading bot on Telegram for trading on Dex Screener. After getting fed up with some other bots that were either useless or too complicated, I decided to build my own. Here’s how it went down.
I tried a bunch of existing trading bots, but they all had major issues:
>Extreme Congestion: Bots often got bogged down during high traffic periods, leading to missed trades. >Slippage: Trades executed at prices far from the intended ones, cutting into profits. >Irrelevant Price Movements: Bots reacted to insignificant price changes, making unnecessary trades and causing losses.
Since I have a coding background I gave some time and tries to bulld a bot, initially there were a lot of issues and bugs but after working it out for more than 2 months the bot is finally ready.

Implemented my trading strategy in Python. This included conditions for buying and selling, risk management rules, and logging for tracking performance.
Used the python-telegram-bot library to connect my bot logic with Telegram. This allowed me to send alerts and receive commands through the Telegram chat interface. Set up webhooks to get real-time notifications when certain conditions were met (e.g., price thresholds). Deploying the Bot:
Deployed my bot on Heroku, ensuring it was always running and could handle real-time trading needs. After all speed is the name of the GAME
Results and Improvements The bot has been performing well, executing trades faster and more accurately than the previous bots I used. It's fully customizable, so I can tweak it as my trading strategy evolves.
Final Thoughts Building my own trading bot was a challenging but rewarding experience. It’s given me more control over my trades and peace of mind knowing exactly how my bot operates. If you’re fed up with unreliable bots plagued by congestion, slippage, and irrelevant price movements, I highly recommend giving it a shot. IF you have a decent enough coding background you can.
