Peter zeihan(sp?) had a good observation recently. Our country is so polarized that 50% will probably say the economy sucks based on who is in office. However, if you look at the state by state numbers, the ones with the best economic growth are generally red states -Texas, Florida, SC, Tenn. last time I looked, Washington state was the outlier. Solid blue states such as New York, California, Illinois, the New England states were significantly below the national growth rate. So you have areas where Biden biggest support lies not really feeling the effects of what the national number is saying.
