My (US, EU) lawn is relatively well mowed, a bit spotty but generally okay.

My frenemy neighbour lives half a mile away, he has an huge lawn and it is also relatively well mowed (China).

My other neighbour really hates me, and his lawn is smaller than mine, but also fairly well mowed.

Between us all lives our fourth neighbour. He has a really big lawn but it’s really poorly mowed because he has no lawnmower. In the future he will buy lawnmowers and petrol from whoever helps him with his lawn today.

Me and my well-mowed two neighbours have been trimming the edges of the overgrown neighbours lawn, to keep each other on our toes. I’m now promising that I will mow 80% of the overgrown lawn, introducing my own lawnmower and fuel to try and lock him into an agreement that he sources from me for the foreseeable future - this gives me the biggest lawn, the most lawnmowers and the most fuel customers.
