You're correct, but my point is the money that would have otherwise went to tax is in the economy competing for goods and services.

The concept is supply and demand would dictate that the more dollars are out there competing for The limited amount of goods and services, the higher the prices will be.

Wages need to go up. Higher wages typically increase productivity. Which leads to higher production increasing supply. It's only then that a tax cut would truly make sense. Wait till wages go up the tax revenue becomes what it needs to be and then slowly reduce taxes with more precision.

No government can dictate that wages be higher, other than the minimum wage. That's a completely different economic system. One I'm not a fan of.

Now the president can use the bully pulpit to tell companies to raise wages. My question is which one of the candidates do you think is going to do that? This is an economic sub and I have already gotten too political.
