It goes in a cycle until it doesn't. The current cycle is drastically different from previous ones in that it hit an ATH before the halving. How else might it differ? "Buy low sell high" sounds so simple but the highs and lows are only evident with hindsight. This subreddit is littered with sad tales from people who sold at what they thought was the top, and then waited for a dip which never came, only to find that they could never again in their lifetimes own as many sats as they had before. Don't try to time the market, just buy and hodl.
