I want to invest in the sp500 long term, but here in Europe we can only invest in ETF's of it. The sp500 has a dividend yield of \~1.5% in the US, but the ETF's (on etoro) have dividend yield of only about 0.3%. Because they pay \~$1.5 per share, with a share price of \~$500, so the yield becomes 1.5/500 \* 100 = 0.3%.

Is this normal? Am I misunderstanding something?
