It’s Fox News and conservative talk radio, and now social media content as well.

It turns people into hysterical, cynical freaks. If you’ve ever known a hardcore conservative in person and spent time around them (both of my parents were), their minds become absolutely warped by that nonsense.

They start to see absolutely everything as “the liberal agenda.” You’ll notice they can’t do anything without seeing it through a political filter. They will make underhanded comments all day long.

Vaccines for them just became another part of the “liberal agenda.” Once something becomes categorized like that, there is absolutely no reasoning with these people. There’s really no reasoning with them in general, but definitely not once their political alarm has been tripped. They refuse to see any logic at all.

If that same conservative stops watching AS MUCH Fox News (as my mom has), you will see a drastic change in their behavior. They will go back to being more pleasant and more fair minded and more reasonable.
