I had to upload my drivers license when I was doing my taxes, or scheduling a doctors appointment. I don’t like that I have to do it, but I trust that it’s secure. The actual porn website doesn’t need to see it, you can probably give verification through a third party, and so the website doesn’t ever receive your data. Kinda like Facebook, how you use it to sign into other things, and you can control what info Facebook gives them.

Of course having any info on the internet is risky, and there’s always a risk of leaks, but I think the pros probably outweigh the cons if this is implemented in the right way. Minors should not be viewing porn
