A thought about the current (non-)functional OpenGov system. (People seem to despair and resentment arises..)

Voting power should be presented in classes and not in absolute proportions. Up to 1k DOT - one vote, 1-10k - 2 votes, 10-50k - 3 votes... A limit from 1m DOT or so would make sense. So whales would be limited in their absolute power.

(The numbers in the example are not well thought out and are just an example.)

It would therefore be a compromise between “skin in the game” and limiting the central power of a few participants.
