Sigh, the worst is im less than 40 and I remember 3 such phases already. I remember at 20-something a uni friend was worried about "the crisis" in France, and I had just seen some news bulletin from the 70s that was absolutely almost word for word the same as the news bulletin that triggered my friend's worry: "dude, there s always a crisis, so much so they re probably not critical at all".

He was "yeah you re right actually was the same 10 years ago"... it's just part of life and what regulators have managed to do is to make them less painful than before.

There were years in Paris, people would starve so much they d kill the bakers for wheat hoarding ...
