Maybe you should have read and comprehended the initial article. It was the employees phone. Not a fucking spy camera. Should there employees not bring phones now? Good luck enforcing that. Also attendants don't clean the bathrooms mid flight unless something happens like someone shit on the floor. I guess a supervisor could instruct someone to check the bathrooms for hidden cameras every time someone goes in there though... This exact situation could have happened at literally any business with a bathroom. It has happened at a lot of places. Off the top of my head it happened at a walgreens near me last year. Let's change every single businesses policies so no phones are allowed. And the janitors need to look for cameras. Oh wait they don't go in there enough to make that feasible so let's add that responsibility to some kind of patrol to go check all bathrooms for cameras every twenty minutes. The logistics alone to fully prevent something like this from happening would shut businesses down faster than another great depression. No business is liable for an act committed by an employee that does NOT relate to the business. Niche circumstances like previous knowledge of the act or accomadating for it not withstanding.
