i get it.
But none of that fancy AI is gonna work without electricity or devs. And devs as far as kn ow haven't written themselves outta a job. It'll be a while before an AI eats its own ass like everyone thinks it will with new data into their training models and just 'evolve' or some shit. yeah yeah it kinda sorta works like that but it's also not sci fi. The training sets *need* to be refreshed and vetted and that means - AI - will forever be at the mercy of it.
Now i hear your whatbout getting cranked out on the keyboard.
Look - i think 'braries are lame too. And yes, they are often havens for bumbs in large cities. yeah there's all the whargarbble w the social justice wars that get these places tend to be battle grounds for (I guess?).
Teaching, I hope you know, isn't just getting dealt with by information. The teacher isn't easing students into a data set, converging on them with all sorts of fancy parameters to optimize the delivery of facts. That shit is kinda what is happenin, i guess, in a reductive sense, but that's the key - reductive.
Shoveling info, by screen, no matter how clever, no matter how precise - is just that - shoveling info by screen - into a waiting set of *human* eyes and ears.
A teacher teaches humans. An AI Script engine blurts out shit in the hopes it can get you play the game with to help you remember. Your claim that the former is equivalent to the latter. I say, in some respects, yes, but not really in full.
