I don't know what other ways I can describe this to you: their **ability to do it to you** matters **less** than their **ability to do it to everyone**.

This is a problem at scale. A problem of them solidifying the means and opportunity to conduct spyware on a massive scale.

These companies fundamentally cannot be trusted with this data. There has never been a single company with data that hasn't abused that data.

There will be exploits. There will be malware they use to target their ability to read this data even if its just stored on your computer. There will be exploits targeting employees at companies that store your identify and other valuable information that could be sourced through this data set on local machines and used to negatively impact you or negatively impact all of us collectively as a group.

You're just acting so myopically if all you think of is the immediate effect of these things, to you, in the short term.

Windows is fucking *everywhere*. And this pattern from them and from all companies to continue to be more epxloitatitve and predatory with our data is really, really dangerous.
