I have several friends who WFH, and they are way more relaxed. I don’t want them to have to commute every day, but when they basically do what OP suggests about being able to do laundry (among other household chores), take a nap, go shopping, leisurely lunch, watch a movie, etc., it just feels like they are benefitting in a society that doesn’t value the right people.

Side note: I don’t think I could WFH if I could. I need social interaction.
