I'm not using lumber as a decentralized currency.

I think free, fair, open market from inception is critical to creating a decentralized currency.

I'm not going to jump on a "decentralized" currency where founder's and insiders gave themselves % of coins before opening it to the public. That's just a security. Nothing wrong with that, but it's not a decentralized currency.

And there may be a future where coins with unfair markets and centralization problems DO provide value as something different than a decentralized currency.

But I don't think they will be as valuable as an actual decentralized currency.
