And I don’t earn my money? I started as a dishwasher at a small restaurant. I worked for 40 years as an hourly employee. You don’t think I earned my money? I have never borrowed money from family or friends and did not borrow money to open any of my restaurants. I did it on my own. And you don’t think that is work. That shows why you will never do it. You don’t think it is work.

And how many restaurants do you know that hire at $18/hr starting? But, you have to know what you are doing and actually work. I don’t pay people to not work (except sick days, bereavement days, and vacation days). If you want to be a slacker, go somewhere else. If you want to work and learn how to run a restaurant, work for me. The greatest privilege I have is for an employee I taught you go get a manager’s position at a good restaurant. That means I taught and they learned well.
