Is the solar industry good for the future?

I’m 15 and I’m looking to make my first investment, the companies I’ve looked at are NextEra Energy, First Solar and Brookfield Renewable Partners. Is this a good first time investment??? I did look at the semiconductor stocks but most of the stocks were very expensive. If solar isn’t a good industry then what is???

EDIT: are any of you familiar with SMH stock would that be successful with all the recent semiconductor sales?
