It has no influence. Study after study after study has shown that violent video games DO NOT increase violence in kids. It’s doesn’t. It’s actually been found in some studies to correlate to less violence as getting your frustrations out in a fictional setting lowers stress and aggression.

One of my favorite franchise of all time is Mortal Kombat and I can safely say I’ve never cut someone’s head off after stabbing them with their own spine. I’ve never even been in a fist fight. But I fucking love pulling off fatalities in MK. Cause it’s almost like people can tell the difference between fiction and real life
