However I don’t think you can compete with YouTube without buku bucks (spelling here idk). There should at least be very quick takedowns for videos if they’re flagged by users. I know most sites operate on this front pretty well but it shouldn’t be a most site thing. It should be an all site thing or you have your domain fucking hosed and get pulled into federal pound me in the ass court if you egregiously violate this law and are in America.

There are plenty of things that have barriers to entry. You can’t go be a doctor tomorrow. You can’t go fly a plane tomorrow. Why do we feel that you should be able to sell *other people’s porn* without any sort of regulations? Bc that’s what you’re doing if you are allowing user uploads and putting ads on them.

Or even put the full extent on the uploader too.. but right now all legal repercussions are split between uploader and viewer - both people who might have no fucking clue on porn laws.. and the site that hosts it and should know the most has zero accountability. Clear net porn sites should not be “browse at your own risk” and we probably shouldn’t have so much content up that is unverifiable as legal and we just have to hope that bc it’s uploaded, approved, and hasn’t been flagged it must be.

And then if you want to go to a site you *know* everything is above board you have to deal with the shadiest companies on the internet.

Maybe we just need better paid porn is all but this loophole of responsibility has made it more lucrative to host a tube site than a real porn site bc if you have a real porn site you have to send dmca sharks out every day bc these sketch ass tube sites are knocking your shit off without any sort of regulation. On top of you know actually keeping records that your actors are 18+… and finding payment processors who will allow you to use them… why do all that when you can just say “upload away guys not my fucking problem” while the ad money comes in
