I used 4chan once like ~12 years ago to see why people refrenced it all the time. I went to /b/ and the first thread I saw was a guy getting decapitated by a chainsaw in the middle of the street. I can handle the occasional gore, I don't want to see it, but I can deal with it.

Second thread still makes me viscerally angry to this day. It was an amateur photoshoot of a bunch of underage guys, cheerfully raping a drugged unconcious underage girl. It was so obviously real that I immediately closed the site and never went back.

Place is a fucking shithole. I hear it's *slightly* better moderated now but I'm still extremely wary of any person I meet that says they use it.
