Millions of parents will *never ever* do what we say is their responsibility. Society will collapse before we get even 75% of parents "doing it right".

They won't limit screen time, monitor their kids internet activity, teach them internet safety, teach them about sex and porn, or any of that. Like, many parents will, but millions won't ever do it. There's always gonna be lots and lots of bad parents destroying their kids development, it's just a fact of society.

To me, it's enough reason to get the government involved in certain aspects of parenting. Like limiting adolescent access to social media for example. Parents will never do it and it's destroying kids mental health. Only way to do that is with age verification, so if enforcing it on porn sites is the way we get that, I don't mind...as long as the bill is written to have some protection of privacy anyway.
