I always hit the limits. The difference is that when you use it to help with programming, it's dumb as nails so you have to ask it 20 times before it gives the right answer. Zero-shot prompting isn't there yet, it still takes about 5 - 8 follow-ups to get the desired result. There are clever techniques you can use but openAI finds a way to make chatGPT improvements, regressive sometimes so you have to work around those, which costs more attempts.

Thankfully I use several other AI so it's not terrible, I just don't feel like $20 is worth such a small limit. You can get just as good as results with langchain + minstrel 7b and CoT/VoT prompting.
