Who said we shouldn't need to. I think there's a strong case to be made for requiring age verification there too, if the law actually intends to restrict minors for accessing that stuff. Many of the cases you mentioned aren't actually legally required, businesses just choose to ban minors. But still, maybe we *should* enact age verification there too. You make a good point.

In many cases, yes. With how verification works in most cases, information on viewing habits can't be leaked since no one would actually know what you are watching.
