And still you don't mention money printing as a contributing factor? I agree with most of your points here but the printing of money is likely the single biggest contributor to inflation, which is the point that the OP is trying to make.
The pandemic created a unique situation which changed many aspects of the supply chain, employee attitudes, and corporate policies. Some of those are permanent and some of those are transitory. However I would argue that the money printing that was done as a result of the pandemic is the driving force behind a lot of the inflation that we see today.
