Nope, because if Russia doesn't agree to Trumps deal but Ukraine does, do you think Trump will go "ohh well"? No, that doesn't even fit his personality (fuck me, if you think Trump would take that even from Russia I think you don't remember what he was like when you disagreed with him or gave him a hard time), he wold be pissed off at Putin for making him look bad and give Ukraine even more aid to get Russia to agree (and would probably threaten to do so if Putin didn't like the terms). Likewise, knowing Trumps personality if Putin threatened a nuclear strike Trump would probably respond with "I got access to a bunker and nukes as well" (lets be real, that is something Trump would say, ok maybe "yuge bunker"). Truthfully that is what needs to be done if you want peace, throw down a deal they both hate but people can live with, and tell Ukraine accept it or go without aid, and threaten Russia if they don't agree to give Ukraine more aid and let them go further. If they bot hdon't agree walk away till that deal looks good to one of them, and knowing this war I give it 1 year till one of these two is killed by their own people if one side agree's to the terms.

Granted this deal that putin proposed ain't it, borders are going back to prewar positions, but other things can be negotiated about like Ukraine being a part of NATO or instead letting them form defense pacts with nonNATO nations (and seeing how Russia has many neighbors I think there will be a lot in interested party's).
