That’s because most people don’t understand basic economics and capitalism.

Biden doesn’t *control* the economy. He can *influence* it, like releasing strategic gas/oil reserves (he did that this week). And before you complain saying he is depleting our reserves, he isn’t and in fact made $500 billion on our oil reserves. I digress.

Grocery prices are up…yes. Biden doesn’t control that. Retailers and suppliers do, and they are price gouging the crap out of you. For example, junk food (soda, chips etc) has skyrocketed +40% in the past three years. Fast food has jumped over +60%. *But what about eggs?!* It has been proven that egg farmers were price gouging you and were caught.

A lot of people are being priced out of the home market. That is true, but that is not Biden’s fault. Blame the banks, who have poured billions in the real estate market as a hedge. There is a no-partisan bill that will require banks to liquidate these properties over ten years.

Look, I don’t think Biden is perfect, but the guy got us out a pandemic, prevented a recession, and is handling multiple international crises. Way better than a guy who crashed our economy (you can blame COVID but he was our President at the time and couldn’t lead), spewing authoritarian messages, and wants to give tax breaks to the 1%. Trickle economics don’t work…
