> men have decided they don't WANT better alternatives
I wonder why the article says young men feel isolated. Couldn't possibly be because people online keeps painting them with the widest possible negative brush.
We're losing young men because of messaging. When the conversation is "Men suck and are awful" they tune out and feel isolated from your position.
> Liberalism offers a lot of better alternatives to men
You say that, offer no evidence, and then spend the rest of your comment saying men want horrible things, and that liberalism shouldn't pander to men. You've successfully offered a non-solution and othered young men in one paragraph.
If you want to stop the kids from moving away, how about starting with messaging and actually talking about what better alternatives are on offer. Why say "Men don't WANT better" instead of "a more progressive society can support men's mental health" or "a more progressive society can help men support their future families better"?
