Sure, AIPAC is founded by American Conservative Jews and Evangelicals, but it actively works with the Israeli government, pushes our government rightward by supporting MAGA and Jan 6th insurrectionists.. I think that should draw the line where they should be subject to FARA. Are you saying that a group of Chinese Immigrants who support Xi should be able to create a PAC that supports Xi, China, and deflects from a Uyger genocide? What about a PutinPAC (Cough NRA), that works with Russian immigrants who are supportive of Putin and regularly meet with Russian Oligarchs.

Sure it may be legal under this current system but I don't think any of it should be legal. America shouldn't be beholden to foreign nations lobbying our government through shadowy PACs who can easily skirt regulations by forming dark money groups and meet with foreign leaders. We have seen in recent months our politicians will sell out to foreign governments for pennies (Bob Menendez, Henry Cuellar). If you are deluded into thinking AIPAC doesn't facilitate the same corruption that Menendez and Cuellar engaged in, then you have another thing coming.

All PACs that serve the interests of any foreign nation regardless of weather they are homegrown or foreign should have to register with FARA and be subject to the strictest financial and disclosure regulations. This should include AIPAC. No nation should be put above the US by the US government and it is clear that Israel right has been placed above what's best for international law and American law because that is what AIPAC wants.
