Deliberately misinterpreting replies? I made a knowingly unpopular opinion and got blasted with a lot of replies, taking an opinion and running wild with it. The initial comment already solidified the take others will have, and it doesn't serve a purpose to even try to explain because Reddit emotions run high. As others have inferred from my comment about adding chaos to a situation not being the answer to a chaotic situation, yes, I definitely cheered for police and said they did everything perfectly. I definitely said let's never regulate guns or fix the broken mental health care system resulting in school shootings. My comment definitely was a cheer for dead children because I stated that maybe we don't have more guns and cowboys running into every situation. Yeah. That's what I said.
