The gaslighting. No. I remember when I use to be able to save money and keep a savings. It wasn't very long ago. Now everything is so expensive, every last cent I once had is now gone. I never had credit card debt. Now, I have more credit card debt than I have money. My rent was paid, bills paid, I had little to no concern around those things. Now? It's daily wondering how I will pay rent, if I will able to get enough hours to do it, etc.

I'm making MORE MONEY THAN EVER and I feel MORE FUCKED than ever before. It's not rhetoric. It's reality. A few years ago interest was maybe 18% and that was still high on credit cards. Now? Now that shit is 30%. That is predatory.

It has nothing to do with "because it's a dem". It's because people are hurting. Why are people hurting? Because corporations are fuck bags. That has nothing to do with Biden. There's so much nuance entirely lost and ignored. I find that annoying.

Before Covid, Before Trump, I could afford to exist. I CAN'T AFFORD TO EXIST AND I'M NOT ALONE, THIS ISN'T ABOUT ME. Lots of people are suffering but because it's an election year Biden doesn't want to talk about it. Easier to try to gaslight the populace.

The truth is Trump caused this bullshit and Biden doesn't want to talk about Trump or give the GOP soundbytes. In part, I wonder at times, if Biden also is biting his tongue because the Dems are having money issues and they don't want to piss off donors on their side benefiting from the current fuckery.

The responsibility of this, much of the pain people are talking about is because of Trump and his terrible leadership in office. That's where right now started. His mismanaging of covid was a clusterfuck that haunts us to this day. His PPE loans and all the other shady shit and favors he did, judges he installed, the rot is so deep but that's a difficult conversation. We can't have that conversation! Not during an election year. I'd be too easy for the GOP to be cheap, stupid and will try to deflect away from the conversation surrounding Trump's responsibility for anything with some logical fallacy that tantalizes their drones.

So instead of the conversation being about holding Trump accountable and trying to clean up after his mess, the economy isn't really *that* bad you just need some cognitive behavioral therapy surrounding your beliefs about money and needs like food and water.
