It’s true that eating badly can damage the liver (eg over a long period of time one could develop Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease). But getting liver damage in less than a month is way more consistent with an alcoholic relapsing and then binge drinking. Which happens to be exactly what Spurlock admitted to, years after the doc came out.
