Stocks are owning nothing just as equally as crypto. Being backed by physical company holdings? By the time a company would go through bankruptcy you are last in line to claim and you aren't seeing a cent. Owning gold? You ever actually buy physical gold? Like, have it shipped to your house? If not, then to you it's as immaterial as crypto. If yes, were the atoms in it really so useful that it's what you bought? Did it's weight and luster improve your life somehow?
