Come on dude, they are disabling a super lightweight but popular app as Chatgpt just so people will do as op and say "time to hit the Mac store". I repeat, there's nothing old hardware can't handle about using this app. This is a commercial reason. Not a technical one. I can understand they suspending updates and support for older computers. But apps? It should be your problem, not their decision , if the experience is subpart or truly incompatible.
