Local laws govern what applies to you. I'm not enough of an expert to give you a satisfactory answer here. I know that RWA is the latest craze. Maker has had tokenized treasuries for a while now. Eden also has Tbills on chain. I've seen real estate RWA stuff percolating, etc.

These sorts of comments tell me that you don't fundamentally understand why crypto is important. If it's not decentralized, then it's not much better than a SQL database. Decentralization is everything. The security guarantees of BTC and ETH are unparalleled. I have no doubt that companies will run their own chains. The existence of intranet does not diminish the important and utility of the internet, just for example.

I'm not going to hold your hand here. I didn't really "get it" either until I used one of these applications and it clicked for me. Not saying you should or need to use anything, but it's a lot easier to understand if you did. I can take out a loan in literally one click with defi, and nobody can stop me even if they wanted to.
