It can work for NFTs, because in a sense its a closed system moving essentially "authentication" tokens around to verify who owns what imaginary item. But for things tied to the real world who is there to enforce the law, are there any cases of this being enforced by a government? To call back your original use-cases if there ever gets to a real world scale:

Who is going to enforce a law around these kind of products that isn't backed the government? These are things governments aren't going to give control over to Billybob's blockchain, they're going to roll their own out and make you use it if that ever happens.

I call it bullshit because most of these ideas aren't providing the reasoning to get them to fruition, you're not willing to provide that reasoning thus far at least.

Bitcoin worked because it was outside the scope of government and could circumvent it, NFTs can pull that off to some extent though I don't see the sustainable model for it in terms of investing. The majority of these new product/ideas revolve around entities tied to economies governments control, which require cooperation between government and their laws. I don't understand why people are leaping to the assumption that that's going to happen when it's not in the interest of the government to relinquish that control.
