One is an offensive weapons system designed to deliver a first strike nuclear capability on an adversary just 90 miles away. The other is a defensive pact whereby member countries agree to spend a certain percentage of their GDP on the military and come to each other's aid if they are attacked. Not only are they not the same thing, they're not even similar.

> When I was young, I supported the Iraq War.

When I was young the Gulf War was driving Iraq out of Kuwait. I never supported the second Gulf War because I watched Sec. of State Colin Powell give his presentation about suspected WMDs and it looked like bullshit.

> We've broken treaty after treaty coaxing Ukraine into war. They now get 50 year old guys with Down Syndrome to fight their wars and you cheer it on. You're fucking disgusting. You go fight that righteous war if it's so important.

First, name those broke treaties. Second, what the fuck are you talking about? Coaxed? Ukraine was attacked and invade by Russia. A wannabe dictator who was weepy for his lost Soviet Union decided to act like a petulant child and have a tantrum. I don't root for war, but I do want to see Russia driven back behind its borders and Putin hanged after being convicted of crimes against humanity.

Have a good day!
